About Our Soaps
What makes goatmilk soap different from other soaps?
Goatmilk is naturally rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, and E, as well as alpha-hydroxy acids that gently exfoliate. It cleanses without stripping moisture, making it especially kind to dry and sensitive skin.
Are your sopas suitable for sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis?
Many of our customers with sensitive skin conditions find goatmilk soap soothing and gentle. However, we always recommend patch testing a new product, and consulting your GP if you have specific concerns.
Do you use fragrance oils or essential oils?
We use essential oils/blended essential/fragrant oils and natural fragrances in our soap ranges. We also offer unscented options for those who prefer fragrance-free soap.
How long does a bar of soap last?
Oh this is such a “loaded question”. Homemade soap lasts for 1 to 2 years as shelf life before use, and about 3 to 4 weeks in the shower depending on time of year – how hot the water is you wash in – do you have hard water – body hair – use a washcloth or loofah rather than rubbing the bar directly all over your body to minimize waste maximise sudsy bubbles.
What is a silk log?
A silk log is a full uncut log of soap — beautiful as a display piece, or you can slice it into individual bars yourself. They make wonderful gifts.
Ingredients & Product Care
Are your products tested on animals?
Absolutely not. Our products are only tested on willing family and friends. We are committed to cruelty-free production.
Do your soaps contain palm oil?
We use sustainably sourced palm oil in some recipes where it contributes to the bar’s hardness and lather quality. We’re always exploring palm-free alternatives.
How should I store my soaps?
Keep unused bars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For bars in use, a draining soap rack helps them last much longer.
Orders & Gifting
Do you offer gift packaging?
Yes — we have a range of gift boxes, wrapped sets, candles, and soap racks that make beautiful presents for any occasion.
Can I request a custom order?
We’re happy to discuss custom orders for events, weddings, or corporate gifts. Please get in touch via our contact page.
Do you sell at markets?
Yes, we attend selected local markets in the Coffs Harbour region. Follow us for updates on upcoming market dates.
